Ray was in Japan in October to serve as Visiting Research Professor in Digital Humanities at Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto (http://www.ritsumei.ac.jp/eng/).
While there, he delivered two talks, titled “A Vision for the Future of Humanities, in our Discipline and Beyond,” and “Research in Electronic Textual Culture: Understanding the TEI Community, Exploring Manuscript Culture, and the Implementing New Knowledge Environments Project.”
Ray had a wonderful time in Japan, and hopes to visit again soon!
