Dear DH Community,
In our final Nuts & Bolts of Digital Humanities this year, Catherine Caws (Associate Professor and Chair, Department of French) will discuss “Using Digital Tools to Engage Learners.”
As Catherine says, “From language learning to learning about languages and the world, digital tools have a lot to offer to both learners and instructors. In this talk, I will comment on a few examples of tools such as wikis, blogs, curating sites or online videos that have greatly impacted the way individuals create, share or remix content for learning.”
This talk will capitalize on our teaching experiences this year and get us ready to plan our courses for next year — and help us choose the appropriate digital tools for the outcomes we hope to achieve!
We’ll meet at 4:00 on April 8th in the University Club lounge (by the pool table or just past it).
Hope to see you there,
Laura
