Hello all,

We hope that your semester is going well! Things are buzzing along over here at the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab, and we would like to take this opportunity to formally invite you to a springtime Open House at the ETCL. Are you curious about digital humanities initiatives at UVic? Wondering what sort of projects are going on in the ETCL at the moment? We’ll have many of our ETCL members on hand to share their ideas and initiatives with you, as well as to engage in discussion and answer any questions you may have.

When: Wednesday March 4th, 4.15pm-5.30pm
Where: Electronic Textual Cultures Lab (ETCL), Clearihue B043b (between HCMC and the CALL centre)
Who: ETCL members, including staff, post-docs, programmers, and graduate and undergraduate research assistants
Snacks: Provided

A couple of representatives from the ETCL will also be presenting at IdeaFest earlier that day, during the panel “Humanities in a Lab Coat: Another Kind of Research Life” (2.30pm-4pm, ECS 108), and we would love to see you there as well. Please see attached flyer for more info.

All best,
Alyssa, on behalf of the ETCL team
