This post is part of the Meet the ETCL Team series, which introduces the wonderful people who work in the lab and who have worked with us in the past

Hilda is a Mitacs Globalink intern from Hong Kong. She started working in the lab in May 2022 and will stay for three months in the summer. As a student majoring in computer science with a minor in history, Hilda is very interested in digital humanities, a field that combines her skills and interests.

In the lab, Hilda is working on the “Blockchain, Web3, and the Commons” research scan and a corresponding annotated bibliography. She is also involved with the Canadian HSS Commons, conducting some user testing and assisting to develop a vision document on community building and digital commons. Throughout DHSI 2022 — Online Edition, Hilda helped update the websites and other digital materials and participated in the lectures and conferences.

During her free time, Hilda enjoys playing badminton, reading, listening to music, and watching movies — the Harry Potter series is her favourite!
